You've heard the term "instructional designer" or "user-experience designer" but you're probably still wondering exactly what a designer does.
Instructional designers create effective, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences. They draw on best practices from education, research, graphic design, psychology, systems theory, and creative writing to create eLearning, classroom and lab experiences, workshops, job aids, and other performance support solutions.
Traditional instructional designers work behind the scenes by collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop the learning experiences, but they rarely deliver the content to the target audience. However, due to background experience in education and love of learning, Andrea thrives at creating meaningful and quality content, teaching, and delivering to a live audiences.
